Have you ever consumed a canon and thought, "This would be better if..."? Well, that's what Fixed That For You is for! If you've ever wished that X didn't die or Y didn't lose his powers, or thought that the "heroes" were jerks and the "villains" actually had a good point, now's your chance to fix it!

What can I prompt?
Whatever you like! Character doesn't die/comes back to life, Villain who got off scot-free gets their just desserts, "Heroes" who are actually terrible get called out, Character(s) who lose their powers get them back... If there's something about canon you wish was different, prompt it!
How do I prompt?
Comment on the prompting post here in the format: [Fandom], [Character(s) or Pairing], [Prompt]. You do not need to specify characters or a pairing, but if you don't your creator will have free rein to use whatever characters they see fit to fill the prompt. "Any fandom" prompts are also allowed, in the form: "Any fandom, [Prompt]".
Examples:
Any fandom, Character(s) don't go back in time. <- The fill can use any fandom or characters.
MCU, any, Steve doesn't go back in time. <- The fill can use any characters from the MCU.
MCU, Steve Rogers, Steve doesn't go back in time. <- The fill must include Steve.
MCU, Steve Rogers & Bucky Barnes, Steve doesn't go back in time. <- The fill must include Steve and Bucky's platonic relationship.
MCU, Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes, Steve doesn't go back in time. <- The fill must include Steve and Bucky's romantic relationship.
You can post as many prompts as you wish, but if you're posting a lot at once please combine them into one comment. At the end of the prompting period all prompts will be organised into a list for easier browsing.
All prompts from the last round will be automatically added to the list, so if you prompted last time, you don't have to repost those prompts again.
Can I prompt for art?
The focus of this fest is on fic, but if you are open to an art fill for your prompt, you can opt in by putting "Opt In: Art" at the end. E.g. MCU, Steve doesn't go back in time. Opt In: Art.
Can I prompt anonymously?
Yes, anonymous commenting is on.
Filling:
How long do fills have to be?
Fills must be a minimum of 500 words, or a nice sketch on unlined paper if the prompter has opted in to art.
Do I have to claim a prompt to fill?
No, there will be no claiming, at least for this round. If you see a prompt you want to fill, do so!
Do I have to use one of the prompts?
Ideally, yes, and there will be some "Any fandom" prompts for general use. However, if there's an idea you're dying to write that doesn't fit any of the listed prompts, but does fit the overall theme, feel free to post it.
Can I fill my own prompt?
Yes, absolutely!
How many fills can I do?
As many as you want!
How do I post a fill?
Post to the community any time between 12th and 26th June, with a link to your fill. You can post your actual fic/art wherever you want; AO3, ff.net, Dreamwidth, Livejournal, etc. If you post to AO3, the collection here will open on the 12th of June for you to add your fills to. If you do not have or wish to create a Dreamwidth account, please contact the mods and we will post to the community for you.

If your work contains any of the AO3 warnings (Underage, Graphic Violence, Major Character Death or Rape/Non-con) you must either warn for them, or state that you are choosing not to warn. Other warnings are left to creator discretion.
Rules:
1. No bashing of prompts/fills or other fans. The nature of this fest means people will naturally disagree on what "fixing" a canon might look like. If you see a prompt or fill you don't like, scroll. If you think a prompt or fill breaks the rules, please contact the mods and we'll take a look.
2. Be civil. You don't have to like the canon you're "fixing", but please bear in mind that your potential creator/prompter may be a fan and try to avoid outright insults. This also extends to the canon's creators.
3. No RPF. Fixing reality is outside the scope of this fest. However prompts/fills for fictionalised versions of real people/events, e.g. The Social Network, are acceptable.
